Bio:

I have been teaching math since finishing school in 2001. I taught (among other things) at the University of Houston for 3 years but I prefer the 1:30 teacher student ratio in a class instead of the 1:254 I was used to at UH. I then moved to high school teaching and started out at Chavez HS, then Madison HS, and now I am at HS for Law Enforcement & Criminal Justice (HSLECJ). I am a self described geek/nerd/techie so much so that I think Technology is my middle name. I enjoy teaching because it is essentially a new job every school year. I believe that as the students change, then the teacher must change as well. Although I learned without technology, constructivism, or the 5E model, in my classroom that was back in the old days and I understand that todays students are different.
